What a surprise! I cannot believe how good the food was. I wasn't expecting much after seeing the restaurant and how cheap it was. We ordered 4 lbs of king crab legs, oysters, two soft crab meals, okra, one order of gizzards, and 1 lb steam shrimp. All for $151.00. 4 of us ate and ate and ate and still had left over for another meal next day! We were so full but could not stop eating because all were so delicious! I wish it was closer because I would definitely go back! Too bad I live almost 4 hrs away. I will have to make a trip just just to go back! And the service was a bonus! Such a friendly and generous people!
I always get the fried catfish sandwich ($3.50). It is HUGE and so delicious. The bun it comes on is always super soft and warm and not too much bread. I am a huge French fry fan, and theirs are the really starchy dry potato-tasting kind. Pass on the fries here. No flavor. The sandwich is a meal all by itself. I'd recommend this place highly. A best kept local secret. It's a pick up kind of place, so don't think you're going to eat here. This isn't a dine-in sort of spot. Phone your order in and I guarantee it will be a "15 minute" wait time. They're fast and always ready for you when you arrive to pick it up. They have a big plexiglass screen up at the register and wear masks. I don't feel unsafe at all here. It's close quarters inside, so if it looks filled up when you arrive, just wait for people to leave. There isn't much room inside to wait.
